Canada Day at Kootenai Brown Pioneer Village

We at Kootenai Brown Pioneer Village would like to thank you, the people of Pincher Creek, for helping make this one of the most successful Canada Day events we have ever had.  Attendance was phenomenal, with over 500 people coming through our gates to join the party.

Special thanks to:
Pincher Creek Mayor Gary Mill, WOW what a speech.  Short, sweet, and inspiring.
MLA Evan Berger, who gave us a good perspective on wind power in our region.
Sergeant Baalim of the RCMP, a big hit with the kids too..
Royal Canadian Legion #43, honor guard and flag raising with the Cadets.
Trevor Panczak and Roughstock, a great show from this rising Alberta star
Friends In Sync. These ladies sound sweeter every year, the passion and love they put into their performance is heartfelt and beautiful.
Local poet Margaret Kruse.
Phenomenal fiddler Phil Lethbridge.
The Aboriginal dancers, who put on a stellar show and summed the whole spirit of the event up with their closing friendship circle.
Ray Degan and Roy Smythe for bringing their beautiful antique vehicles.

In addition to the above, there were many volunteers and staff without whom we could never have pulled this event off.. kudos to you all, you are very much appreciated.

Thank you to the Pincher Creek Co-op for the ice!

Could the weather have been any better?
