Harrad Quarry Car

Known locally as the “Quarry Car," this wooden flat car was one of many that saw service on a small spur line stemming off came off the CPR Crow’s Nest Branch, at a point near the modern Pincher Creek Trestle on Highway 3.  Despite the small size of this car, appearances can be deceiving. The massive sandstone rock upon it weighs approximately 8 tonnes.
