Why donate?

Donations come to us in many forms. All the artifacts that you see in our Village from the tiniest hairpin to the historical building that it is housed in have been donated to us. Money can be donated to the Historical Society through donation boxes located in the Village and for larger amounts of $50 or more a tax-deductible receipt can be issued. Donations also are given to us in the form of supplies, equipment, prizes, and time.

We rely heavily upon all types of donations. We are truly fortunate to have a community that is so richly giving and supportive of our many historical endeavors so that we are able to continue preserving history.
