Harvey Bossenberry, the operator of the Haberdasher, a men’s wear store on Main Street served as the Town of Pincher Creek’s Mayor during most of the 1920s.

Arlington Hotel owner William Reston Dobbie (1863 – 1921) served as Pincher Creek’s Mayor for four years up to 1914.
